A Cairns, Queensland resident who set up Peter Harm Consulting in 2016 after 42 years working for the Commonwealth Bank. I am a specialist in banking and finance and my aim is to apply knowledge and experience to influence better outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
During the last six years of my CommBank career I was in an Executive Manager specialist role working with internal and external stakeholders to improve financial inclusion for Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders peoples and to deliver the Reconciliation Action Plan commitments for the Commonwealth Bank.
My role here at AbCF is to connect and influence Corporations to purchase carbon credits from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander carbon project owners and to build relationships with Traditional Owners and Communities and to fully understand the core benefits that make such a significant positive impact on the ground in these Communities.

I am a descendent of the Bunitj Clan located in the North Eastern region of Kakadu National Park and have lived and worked in Kakadu for the past 30 years. I have worked in many different service areas, including Environment Australia, Kakadu Tourism, CSIRO Tropical Ecosystems Research Centre (TERC), Gagudju Association and the Gundjeihmi Aboriginal Corporation.
I am a highly motivated and have established my own companies along the way which have in turn provided employment opportunities for other local Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal people living on country. My businesses include electrical contracting, housing maintenance, feral animal removal, Aboriginal ecosystem knowledge in tourism training and Aboriginal ecosystem services for the mining industry.
I am currently providing services to the Gundjeihmi Aboriginal Corporation through the Aboriginal Carbon Fund to assist in setting up the Kakadu Savanna Burning project.

I was born and raised in western Queensland in the town of Roma, approximately 500km west of Brisbane. Whilst this was my home throughout my childhood and a portion of my adult life, I now live and work full-time in Brisbane.
I have spent almost my entire working career based in the livestock industry, predominantly working for a livestock and property agency, as well as a vertically integrated supply chain providing beef to consumers both domestically and internationally. Whilst currently employed full time for an Investment Group who operate and manage Australian agribusiness assets – I continue to offer my services to other individuals, companies and non-for-profits to aid in their day to day operations to achieve success and sustainability.
I have a real passion for business and the rural sector and am an experienced administration professional with versatile office management and bookkeeping skills. I have been an Executive Assistant for Directors, Managing Directors and CEO’s and enjoy being part of an enthusiastic and professional team.
With over 10 years of experience in all things business and administration, I have been fortunate to cross paths with Rowan and the rest of the Aboriginal Carbon Fund team this year and sincerely look forward to helping them achieve their goals long into the future.
